2025 Dance Now Asia – Selected Participants Announcement

We sincerely thank all choreographers and dance artists for enthusiastically applying to the “2025 Dance Now Asia – Embody Asia” Dance Arts Festival. This open call received an overwhelming response from artists across Taiwan and various regions of Asia. The submitted works showcased a rich diversity and strong artistic value, reflecting the vibrant energy and cultural perspectives of contemporary performance in Asia.

After a thorough review and evaluation conducted by the curator, Hsiao-Mei Ho, along with the selection committee members —Jyh-Shyong Wong(Artistic Director of Malaysia's d'MOTION International Dance Festival 2025), Chun-Kong Yeung (Dance Curator),I-Ling Liu (Contemporary Dance Artist) and Wan-Jung Wei (OISTAT, International Organisation of Scenographers,Theatre Architects and Technicians, Executive Director)— the list of selected participants is as follows (arranged by the number of strokes in Chinese names and in alphabetical order for English names):

The event will take place from August 11 to 17, 2025, at Zhongshan Hall, Taipei City. Further details regarding participation will be provided by the executing unit in due course.
